Diwali is a five-day long festival & each day has its own significance. As per Hindu calendar, Diwali falls on a Amavaasya (moonless night), the 15th day of the dark fortnight of the Hindu month of Ashwin (Aasho), which is usually the month of October or November every year. This Year, Diwali falls on Tuesday, 13th November, 2012.
