Benny Dayal is an Indian singer. He is a member of the band S5 launched by the channel SS Music. Originally from Kerala, he has worked as a playback singer with many noted composers to produce successful soundtracks.

 Benny was born and brought up in Abu Dhabi and completed his schooling there from Abu Dhabi Indian School (ADIS) and went on to complete his B.Com from Madras Christian College. After his graduation from MCC, he did a diploma in journalism from the same college. He was working as Events Coordinator with RR Donnelley. He quit his job in a BPO and decided to dedicate his career to music. Most of the films he sung are for AR Rahman in Tamil, Hindi, Telugu and Malayalam. 

He has since worked with several music composers including Harris Jayaraj, Pravin Mani, Yuvan Shankar Raja, James Vasanthan, Joshua Sridhar, Karsh Kale and Devi Sri Prasad.

Currently Benny has been working with the top music directors in Bollywood including Amit Trivedi, Salim-Sulaiman, Vishal Shekhar, Pritam and Himesh Reshammiya.

Agnee Band started this concept called Create with Agnee a few months ago. and said let’s involve all our fans in our music creation process. Launched the first song (the Splitsvilla theme) and asked people to write lyrics. 

 
Got brilliant response, picked three winners (Jaya, Khurram and Neeraj). Went great. (And for all of you who have been waiting forever for the release of the song with lyrics, it’s happening by the end of this month).

 

The energy of this vibrant bunch of students at the Faculty of Technology and Engineering of Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, who organised PARAMARSH ‘09; a zonal, non-tech annual event/fest could be felt all the way here in Pune.

Live and Loud performance by Agnee Band – famous for The Avengers, Cocktail (Yaarian), MTV Splitsvilla & MTV Roadies. Agnee was formed in 2006 and soon signed by Sony BMG. It is one of very few Indian rock bands to have signed a major label record deal.

Agnee is an Indian rock band based in Pune. The band's debut album 'Agnee' was released on May 15, 2007. Since then, they have released several singles and used an Internet - based free distribution model to gather a large following in the rock music circuit in Mumbai, Pune, Delhi and Ahmedabad. The band continues to extend its reach across India through their 'Create with Agnee' venture in collaboration with Radio Mirchi.

Agnee's music is a collective of individual styles of composing and performing: Koco with his Classic rock, Pop and Indian influences and Mohan with his Carnatic and Hindustani classical influences. Agnee's music showcases all of the above and the compositions in the first album vary in style accordingly. The songs move in genre from Folk rock and Pop-Rock to straight up Pop, and incorporate elements of Funk, Jazz and Carnatic music as well.

Lucky made his debut on the Indian pop scene with the soulful album Sunoh which established him as a pop singer. This album won many of the top awards in Indian music, including the Best Pop Male Vocalist at the 1996 Screen Awards and the Channel V Viewers Choice Award in 1997. It stayed on the MTV Asia Charts for 60 weeks. 

The song 'O Sanam' from Sunoh, launched his career and is considered by some to be one of the best indi-pop songs ever. His next album, Sifar, wasn't quite as successful as Sunoh, but it was noted for its music, lyrics and vocals.

The Wadali Brothers (Puranchand Wadali and Pyarelal Wadali) are Sufi singers and musicians from Guru ki Wadali in the Amritsar District in Punjab, India. Born into the fifth generation of musicians given to singing the messages of Sufi saints, the Wadali brothers dabbled in the most unexpected of professions before they became Sufi singers. While Puranchand Wadali, the elder brother, was a regular in an akhara (wresting house) for 25 years, Pyarelal contributed to the meager family income by playing the role of Krishna in the village rasleela.
